hey.

if i have a movie in two pieces, on around 700mb avi a piece, with subtitles for them both in two pieces. can i with make to one dvd-r or just one divx. plz tell

go to www.doom9.org and download "nandub"

open cd1 of your film in nandub, go to "video" and set it to "direct stream copy".
then go to "file" and select "append avi segment". select cd2 and it will simply be attached to cd1.
go to "file" and "save as AVI"

the new file will be a single divx made out of the previous 2.

if you want to convert it to dvd then get "ConvertXtoDVD" which is a nice (but limited) tool to turn avi into dvd. after that you can burn the dvd as DVD Video.

you can use DVD-RW to make some practice but in the end you'll see all this stuff is fun :)
