Hi,I downloaded a movie but I can't watch it on VLC as there is no sound. However, the strange thing is that I can hear the sound on WMP and Real Player. But since this is a foreign language flick,I can't view the subtitles on these two players.Am I missing some codec on VLC or something cause this is the first time I'm having trouble with it-otherwise it's been perfectly fine. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!! |

Would you care to elaborate on that mate?? I went to the site ffdshow and searched for 'vlc player'.I was then informed that ffdshow cannot play with VLC player. Which codec should I be downloading?? Thanks!! |

go to www.ddom9.org for latest codecs OR ffshow. a player is simply a player, you need codecs installed to your system in orderd to decode video and audio. most likely you need the ac3 or the ogg audio codecs installed. i don't think they're included in the ffshow decoder, download and install them separately. |
