If you want to post a hot news item or an interesting news fact, please use the following link to post:

Three easy steps:
1) Write a short, synopsis(!) of the news you want to post
2) Add a link to the source of the news (article)
3) Add a link to a picture regarding the news you're posting (optional and no larger than ~150 x 150)

If you do, the post will immediately show up in the News forum (like it would if you had posted it the normal way), where you can edit in the full story if you want. Here's the good part, the post will also come availble for News Journalists & SU's to add to the front page, using the short synopsis you wrote. Credit where credit is due ofcourse, your name will be on the news item when it's added to the front page.

- Remember obviously news posts are screened first, so not all will make it to the front page.
- Be sure to check out the front page first, to see what an article should look like

One addition: if image is bigger then allowed, but you really want it - resize:

something like " width="45" height="30" " in code after image address
(or ask HTML guruZ, not me :))
