Malaysia car thieves steal finger

By Jonathan Kent
BBC News, Kuala Lumpur

Police in Malaysia are hunting for members of a violent gang who chopped off a car owner's finger to get round the vehicle's hi-tech security system.

More here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/4396831.stm

:(

To think supermarkets in several countries now have a pay-by-fingerprint system.. instead of robbing you of cash, criminals might chop off your index finger. Not to mention how easy it is to lift a fingerprint off a glass or even off the scanner itself and use it. Not like they can issue you a new finger if fraud's been detected.

I prefer the Samurai Pizza Cats... Thanks for your interesting response though. I was actually being serious for a minute.

Ahh, screw it...

Man: "Will somebody cue that bird?"

Samurai Pizza Cats (Oh yeah).  Who do you call when you want some pepperoni?
Samurai Pizza Cats (Right on).  They're stampin' out crime and you know that ain't baloney.

There's Speedy Cerviche: he's the leader of the bunch.
A heck of a fighter, Makes a heck of a lunch,

And little Polly Esther who's never afraid (That's me)
Of going into battle when the bad guy's invade.
There's Guido Anchovy, a wild romantic lover.
The cat gets down, down with a love-hangover.
Samurai Pizza Cats, they're so bad, they've got more fur than any turtle ever had.

They're stronger than old cheese  (Stronger than old cheese)
Stronger than dirt  (Stronger than dirt)
If you step on their tails, then your gonna get hurt.  (Don't hurt me)

Samurai Pizza Cats  (they're fightin crime)
All over town
3-2-1, Pizza Cats are on the run

The big cheese is a villan, who's lower than low.  It's a bit of a shame he lives in Little Tokyo.
We've got our nasty Bad Bird and his nasty Ninja Crows. As soon as someone finds the script, we might begin the show.
Sit right back, pick up a seat and turn the sound up high, and if you want the full effect, go eat a pizza-pie!

i never did like samurai pizza cats i tried to enjoy it, but it just wasn't very good. i didn't get the whole samurai and pizza and cat thing. i think it was on around the same time as that other one with the dogs rude dog and the dweebs or something, with all the odd dogs, and one who rode in car.

I actually enjoyed the voice over a lot, he was always cracking jokes, poking fun, etc. What made the show fun was that it was just too silly.

"Samurai Pizza Cats, they're so bad, they've got more fur than any turtle ever had."

yeah they felt like teenage mutant ninja turtles - except with cats and even worse dialogue and of course no april o neal

  IM |View profilephaelox  6/29/2005 17:39:03
The show wasn't really like the turtles all that much. I never liked the Turtles... Choke on that frikken pizza already, Michaelangelo... oh yeah, they both liked pizza, and they both did martial arts. and they're animals. Ok, so there is SOME similarity. ;) Still I liked the humour in SPC better.

i think the animation was worse. and I didnt' like their armour it was  a bit...stupid...did they have a female samurai pizza cat? I;m sure they did - breaking down the boundries eh?

  IM |View profilephaelox  6/29/2005 17:58:10
lol yes. good memory. it probably was meant to be a little stupid. I mean the voice-over was poking fun at stuff. The turtles on the other hand took themselves serious, so to speak. and the SPC was more "anime" style.. (I know "anime" is simply Japanese for "animation", but you know the style I'm talking about.. think -dreadful- pokemon). I would've never watched if it weren't for the humour really. Not that much into anime, or "serious" cartoons. I've watched a lot of Cow & Chicken, Dexter's Lab, Ren & Stimpy, Johnny Bravo, the really shaky cartoon with the shrink (name eludes me atm), a lot of older cartoons I can't even remember, basically all comedy. Beavis & Butthead never tickled me all that much though. Oh, and what's that cartoon called with the little dude (kid) that has a nose that looks like a pig's nose.. he has a really whiny voice.. they showed the guy who does his voice at the end of an ep, actually looks shockingly a lot like his character. :)
