I'm not going to bore you people with the complete Zillion story, because it's not really rellevant for the rest of the story.
So here is the short intro ;o)

On october 16th 1997 A new discotheque opened its doors in Belgium.
It soon became the biggest in Belgium and the most notorious.
Only those who have actually been there, know what I'm talking about.
Let me say "it had the X-factor". It had something unique which other clubs didn't have.

It soon became the new home of Rafke P. Almost every friday I was there.
Sometimes twice (or even more) a week.

On october 9th 2001 Zillion was closed because of several lawsuits over the years.
The interiour was torn down and sold on a public auction (for peanuts)
The Belgian youth was left in the cold. It was really terrible.
nothing could replace it, so many youngsters stayed at home depressed ever since.

Even I couldn't find a valid alternative.
There was another club that opened shortly after. They copied almost exactly the interiour of Zillion and hired some of the old crew.
Still the result wasn't the same. It was missing that X-factor thing.

The old Zillionairs (as we like to call ourselves) kept hoping and dreaming that the club would one day open again.

Now here's where my actual story begins ;o)
(I swear to you this is true)

Last thursday I had this dream again : Zillion reopened and everyone was there.
You can imagine how pissed I was when I woke up and realised it was all a dream.
I drove of to work, listening to the radio.
On the news they said that on thursday night Zillion had reopened its doors again for a limited audiance.
(very spooky mr. Mulder)

When I arrived at work I immediately headed for the new website, checking for more info.
Finally by the end of the day the owner of Zillion left a message that he was going to give a Zillion party on a secret new location. Everyone was invited.
The only thing you had to do was make a phone call after 11pm and this person would give the location.

To my surprise the new secret location was in fact the main room of Zillion!
I hurt to see the building in the current state, but it still had something magical.
The old Zillion lived again ! It was amazing. Words can't describe it.
I'm still having goosebumps when I am writing this. My girlfriend even told me yesterday : I have never seen you so happy.

Unfortunately at 2 o'clock the cops came in. They turned the music down and everyone was asked to leave the building.
But before we could do that they would search us and make copies of our passports.
They even checked the IMEI number of my cellphone !

Still it was the most beautiful day of my life.

Actually that´s almost like from one movie...just can´t remember the name of that movie...a good movie...it even had a old granny partying and using drugs..though she died :/

Been to Zillion about 5 or 6 times. In one word. AWSOME club. RafKep is totally right. Not a club in Belgium or Holland gives me that same feeling as the Zillion did.
I even remember this woman. (a bouncer) She had a big scar on her face. And when she started talking. It was a man's voice you heard. Her shoulder were bigger then those of Schwarzenegger. That was one scary woman.

But a great club it was.

But indeed nice to hear you were there! At the night illegal Zillion party. I will be there also ;)

I still can't stop smiling. It's like The McKenzie said "It feels so good".
I can't wait for the next party... Then again I think next time it will be more private so I probably won't get invited :o(

Anyway this week I will check out the new project 3D69 at Sotto's in Gent.
So all Belgian and Dutch people get your asses over there !

In fact it was a woman. She had more beard (and muscles) than I can ever grow ;o)
But she was always polite and that's what's important.
