1. Subrip (*.srt)

quality overall +++

A running number, end- and startime down to milliseconds given for each subtitle.

2. SubViewer (*.sub)

quality overall +++

This one is verry easy usable in windows media player.If the subtitelname has the same filename as the movie and is located in the same directory as where the movie is located then WMP will automaticly detect the subtitle.

Some information in the beginning about the movie. Start and end times given for each subtitle

not much in use

A compact textfile with start- and endframes in brackets {} in the beginnig of every line. Linebreakes are marked by |

allmost not in use
